Belize, April 2007

April 2007, riding a bus from Mexico to Belize the 20-hour bus ride sped through jungles past factories and into Belize where we caught this little bus down to Orangewalk. I talked to a man about his farm, he grows bananas and sells them to Chiquita, he works 10 hours a day and barely makes enough to get by, it is what he has done his whole life. He says he is happy to have work, he looks tired. His daughter is bored and makes faces at us on the bus.
